Python version

Use Python 3.9–3.13. Python 3.14 is not supported by SDK 0.1.23. An unpinned installation on an unsupported Python version can select an older SDK that does not provide GuardianClient.

Installation

Create and activate a virtual environment before installing. For example, with Python 3.13 installed on macOS or Linux:

python3.13 -m venv idun_env
source idun_env/bin/activate
python -m pip install "idun-guardian-sdk==0.1.23"

On Windows, use py -3.13 -m venv idun_env and activate it with idun_env\Scripts\Activate.ps1 in PowerShell.
